Bridge Design Kickoff

To gather preliminary input on important project themes and elements, the City held an open house in February where over 50 attendees participated in activities centered on themes and design elements for the bridge and plaza. Nearly 150 people contributed design ideas to the project by taking an online survey regarding the design of the bridge. Feedback from these outreach activities informed initial bridge and plaza concepts for the project.

Bridge & Plaza Concept Design

Based on community feedback from the bridge design kickoff outreach, the project team created three design concepts for the bridge and plaza. To determine which concepts to move forward, the City released an online survey in August 2020 to gather more detailed feedback on which design elements are most important and which concepts are the best fit for Wilsonville. Nearly 300 people took the survey and gave feedback on their preferences, with an additional 50 people participating in virtual open houses to learn more about the concepts.
