The City of Wilsonville and Republic Services are pleased to offer Bulky Waste Day on Saturday, Oct. 5. Items may be dropped between 9 am and 1 pm at the Republic Services / WRI Transfer Station, 10295 SW Ridder Rd., Wilsonville.
There is no charge to dispose of bulky waste items; proof of residence is required. In lieu of payment, organizers request that participating residents make cash donations on-site (via cash, check or Venmo) to help Wilsonville Community Sharing’s food bank and social services non-profit provide critical assistance to local families in need.
Vehicles will be weighed and guided to disposal bays. Occupants must unload all bulky waste and leave it near the vehicle as instructed on site. Please do not arrive with materials that cannot removed from your vehicle without assistance.
Bulky Waste Day accepts many items otherwise hard to dispose of, including dishwashers, televisions, refrigerators, computers, monitors, stoves, dryers, water heaters, couches, mattresses, scrap metal, tables and chairs, and clean, untreated wood.
The program does not accept construction debris of any type, propane bottles or canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, household garbage or car tires.
Rotary Club Volunteers to Provide Bulky Waste Pickup
The City is partnering with the Rotary Club of Wilsonville to offer pickup of bulky waste items for a limited number older adults and other Wilsonville residents unable to transport waste to Republic Services. This service, limited to 25-30 requests on first-come, first-served basis, is intended only for those who would otherwise be unable to participate.
10/4 note: Requests are at capacity.
