Accessible Buses
SMART buses are accessible and the drivers are trained to assist customers with disabilities. SMART's mini-vans have ramp access and SMART's mini-buses and large buses have wheelchair lifts.
Reasonable Modification
It is SMART’s policy to make reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, or procedures when requested to do so by individuals with disabilities when such modifications are necessary to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability.
Requests for modifications of SMART’s policies, practices, or procedures for an individual with a disability may be made either in advance or at the time of the transportation service. SMART is best able to address a request when customers make their requests for modifications in advance. If you require a reasonable modification, please call us at 503-682-7790.
